Ilustrador/Historietista
Nacido el 22/10/65 en Montevideo Uruguay.
Radicado en Buenos Aires desde el año 1978.
Inicia su actividad profesional en 1980 colaborando con el semanario ”PARA TODOS”, y la revista “CARAS Y CARETAS” (cuarta época) como viñetista y letrista de comics.
En 1981 publica el primer comic de su autoría, también para la revista “CARAS Y CARETAS”, y realiza diversos trabajos publicitarios free lance.
En 1982 ingresa como integrante estable del equipo de la empresa “CATU” cine animación, donde interviene en la realización de 45 cortos publicitarios para firmas como: CUTEX, VIRTUS, WOLKSWAGEN, LONGVIE, NESTLÉ (Argentina, Chile y Colombia), PLASTICOLA, MOULINEX, FORD, TUBBY, RAID, MAGISTRAL, VÍVERE, JOHNSON & JOHNSON, DOLCA, FRIGOR, SUGUS, REX, DRISTÁN, KELLOGS, Ministerio de Turismo del Uruguay, etc.
A partir de allí colabora con: Ilustraciones, viñetas, logos, isotipos, animatics o storyboards para diferentes agencias de publicidad tales como:
MAZZA, OGILVY & MATTER, ORTIZ SCOPESSI, VERDINO, LAUTREC, DE LUCA, GOWLAN, Mc CANN ERICKSON, CÍCERO TED-BATE, VINCIT, AZ, GRAFFITI, FONTANARROSA-CAPURRO, APSA, YOUNG & RUBICAM, EURO RSCG, AGULLA & BACCETTI, HELLMAN PUBLICIDAD, OMNI PUBLICIDAD, etc., para marcas como:
PEUGEOT, GOOD YEAR, EVEREADY, DURACELL, PRITT, SERENÍSIMA, MILKA, PHILCO, FORD, PHILLIPS, DERBY, FATE, BAYER, LUCKY STRIKE, PONDS, GONGELAR, IPACO, ETAM, DISCO, ENTEL, CHESTERFIELD, BANCO DE BOSTON, CREDICOP, LA CAMPAGÑOLA, PAMPERS, aceite COCINERO, UNITED AIRLINES, BAGLEY, PEPSI COLA, COCA COLA, AYUDÍN, YELMO, BANCO ROBERTS, HEPATALGINA, ISEMBECK, GLACIAR, PINTURERÍAS DEL CENTRO, BANCO BISEL, etc.

Colaboró también en la realización de distintos comerciales (en vivo), alternativamente con: storyboards, dirección de arte, diseño de vestuario y/o escenografías, dirección de montaje, realización escenográfica & fx, animatics, etc., para directores como:
BEBE KAMIN, RAUL DE LA TORRE, MARTÍN LOBO / HORACIO TIFEMBERG (CINETAURO), JUAN JOSE JUSID, TOTI GIL, ROBERTO ASCHIERI (videoclips musicales para SONY Music), etc.
En 1984 conoce al maestro ALBERTO BRECCIA y se convierte en su discípulo y amigo.
Ese mismo año colabora con las publicaciones:
¡OH! DE BRIGITTE, SATIRICÓN, EROTICÓN, AMOR, (Editores Asociados), SCORPIO y TIT BITS, (Ediciones RECORD Argentina), SCORPIO y LANCIO STORY (Italia), revistas JUEGOS, K-64 y diversos títulos de computación, etc.
En 1985/86 comienza a colaborar en distintas publicaciones de Editorial ATLÁNTIDA, PARA TI, BILLIKEN, GENTE, NEGOCIOS, PLENA.
Interviene en diferentes cortos animados de entretenimiento desempeñándose como asistente, animador, diseñador de personajes o layoutmen para los estudios:
HANNA- BARBERA y RUBY SPEARS (EE. UU), colaboran en títulos como: LOS PITUFOS, PAW- PAW, SNORKS, GALTAR Y LA LANZA DORADA, OG READMORE, RAMBO, CHUCK NORRIS, PUNKY BREWSTER, la miniserie WILDFIRE, etc.
También trabajó en numerosos comerciales para Argentina, México y Chile con la productora local BERRINO-NANNI; alcanzando así un total aproximado de 120 intervenciones en cortos de animación.
Desde el año 1987 colaboró con la empresa Ediciones de la Urraca, participando de los títulos: HUMOR, SEX-HUMOR, SEX HUMOR ILUSTRADO, FIERRO, HORA CERO, RAF, LA URRACA, PAÍS CANÍBAL, HUMI, ROLLING STONE y la versión local de la revista: CARTOON NETWORK.
Paralelamente colaboró también con las revistas: APERTURA y TARGET, de la editorial Mind Openner.
A comienzos de los 90, realizó numerosos cómics para la revista: GESPENSTER de Alemania.
En sus diferentes etapas como historietista, trabajó con guiones propios y de:
GUILLERMO SACCOMANO, CARLOS TRILLO, RICARDO BARREIRO, VIVIANA REYNOSO, ENRIQUE SANCHEZ ABULÍ, PETER MENNIGEN, DUNCAN ROULEAU, CHUCK DIXON, etc.
En el año 1994 realiza la ilustración de la colección de cuentos cásicos de CONSTANCIO C. VIGIL para Editorial Atlántida: “La Hormiguita Viajera”, “El Mono Relojero”, “Misia Pepa” y “El Bosque Azul”.
A partir de allí, ilustra libros para SIGMAR, manuales escolares para KAPELUZ, etc.
En 1996, comienza a formar parte del staff permanente de la revista GENIOS de CLARÍN hasta la fecha, e interviene en numerosos proyectos free lance.
En 1999 forma el estudio FRIED / MACHLINE, con el que realiza el diseño y señalización de diferentes proyectos de urbanización privada.
Desde el 2000 en adelante se desempeñará paralelamente en la labor docente y free lance con una extensa variedad de proyectos.
A partir del 2002 publicó numerosos títulos de cuentos para niños editados en el país y el extranjero a través de editorial GUADAL y editorial BEEME.
En 2010 colaboró en el periódico KIDS NEWS del grupo SOCIAL VOICE.
En 2010 y 2011 ilustra libros didácticos sobre deporte, nutrición y salud para la Argentina y México junto al Dr. Pablo Corinaldessi y relevantes figuras del deporte internacional como Lionel Messi, Magui Aicega, Manu Ginóbili, etc.
2012/21,
Ejerce la docencia de dibujo aplicada al COMIC
Y realiza ilustraciones para diversos libros didácticos o recreativos
Retoma la PINTURA y las ARTES PLÁSTICAS como ejercicio y parte fundamental de su desarrollo artístico personal.
2021
Publica el libro “Stone, Rock Stories” con guiones de Guillermo Saccomanno.

Actualmente (2019/2023) es Jefe del área diseño e ilustración de la productora multimedia MORFEO DIGITAL. Con la que ha realizado diversos trabajos entre ellos para Radio El Mundo en Buenos Aires y actualmente desarrollando diseños de aplicación institucionales para la provincia de San Luis.

In 1985/86 he started working in various publications of Editorial ATLANTIDA, PARA TI, BILLIKEN, GENTE, NEGOCIOS, PLENA.and is involved in various entertainment animated shorts serving as assistant animator, character designer or layoutmen for studies:

In 2010 and 2011 illustrated textbooks on sports, nutrition and health for the Argentina and Mexico with Dr. Paul Corinaldessi and relevant international sports figures.
2012/13, currently he teaches drawing applied to COMIC
and illustrated textbooks or recreational.

Currently (2019/2023) he is Head of the design and illustration area of the multimedia production company MORFEO DIGITAL. With which he has done various jobs including for Radio El Mundo in Buenos Aires and currently developing institutional application designs for the province of San Luis.
